This hand-tufted rug has a 100% wool face and a medium pile about 1/2" deep. The ground is a greige taupe, and a grid of fine ivory lines crosses it in an even windowpane. Up close, the pile runs in narrow ribs, so the surface has a quiet corded texture. The look is modern and low-key. The grid gives the floor some order without busy pattern, and the neutral colors sit well with wood floors, linen upholstery and warm or cool walls. It works in a living room, a bedroom or under a dining table, and it is rated for high traffic. In daylight the ground has a faint gray cast, and under lamps it reads warmer. It comes in 2' x 3', 5' x 7'6", 8' x 10' and 9' x 12', plus an 18" sample. Custom sizes and rounds can be made up to 12' x 18'. The canvas back has no grip, so use a felt-and-rubber pad. Spot clean only, with water only. Wool sheds at first, and the colors are not fade resistant, so keep it out of strong sun.
