About this rug
This rug is a modern color-block design. Big angular shapes of rust, charcoal, gray, taupe, beige and pale gold meet edge to edge, and a thin dark line outlines each one. Nothing repeats, so the whole rug reads as one bold composition from across the room. It is hand-tufted in India with a 100% wool face and a canvas backing. The medium pile is 0.39 in, and the rug is about 0.86 in thick overall. The pile is soft underfoot and matte. Like most new hand-tufted wool rugs, it sheds at first. It suits a modern living room, a bedroom or a study, and sits well with wood-frame furniture and plain upholstery. Sizes run from 2' x 3' up to 12' x 15', with 2'6" x 8' and 3' x 12' runners, and custom sizes can be made to order. The 8' x 10' size measures 7'6" x 9'6". Spot clean only, with water only. Use a rug pad, since the back has no grip. Keep it out of strong sun, since the colors are not fade resistant.

Wool
