About this rug
This rug keeps the middle quiet and puts the color at the edges. A sand-beige field with a fine crosshatch, like a tweed weave, sits inside a pale seafoam band and a wide border of deep teal flecked with navy and cream. It reads as a clean, minimalist framed rug with a soft modern edge. It is hand-tufted in India with a 100% wool face and a low 0.2 in cut pile on a canvas backing. The whole rug is about 0.5 in thick, so it sits low under furniture. It is rated for high traffic and is pet friendly, with no loops for claws to catch. Sizes run from an 18 in sample and a 2' x 3' to 2'6" runners, an 8' round and room sizes up to 12' x 15'. Custom sizes are available as well. It suits a living room, bedroom or dining room that wants color without a busy pattern. Spot clean only with mild detergent. Like most hand-tufted wool rugs, it sheds at first. A thin grip pad keeps it flat and in place.
