The medium pile is 0.39 in and the rug is 0.86 in thick overall, so it feels soft underfoot. Fine carved lines run between the color areas and keep each shape crisp. Like most wool tufted rugs, it sheds at first. It is made in India.\n\nIt suits a living room with walnut or teak furniture, a den or a bedroom where the rug is the main pattern.
