The pile is low, about 0.19 in, and the rug is 0.39 in thick, so it sits close to the floor. It is pet friendly and rated for high traffic. Robot vacuums cross it easily, and so do rolling chairs over a firm pad. Expect some shedding at first, as with most wool.\n\nSizes run from a 2' x 3' mat and a 2'6\" x 8' runner up to 12' x 15'.
