The pattern runs to the edges with no border, so it reads as an easy all-over floral rather than a formal frame.\n\nThe face is 100% wool with a 1\/2 in pile. The rug is 3\/4 in thick overall with a canvas back. It is hand tufted in India and rated for high traffic. Expect some shedding at first, as with most hand-tufted wool.\n\nThe low-contrast palette works with warm woods, linen upholstery and soft whites, and it bridges classic and modern furniture. The 8' x 10' fits an 84 in sofa with chairs, front legs on, or a 6-seat table. The 9' x 12' also fits a king bed or an 8-seat table. The 5' x 7'6\" is 6 in shorter than a standard 5' x 8'.
