5x8 Rugs

A 5x8 rug covers 40 square feet enough to anchor a bedroom, a home office or a reading corner without crowding the floor. Every rug here is handmade, and most are wool.

Where does a 5x8 rug fit?
In a bedroom, a 5x8 turned sideways slides under the lower two-thirds of a queen bed and leaves floor showing on both sides. In a living room it sits under the coffee table with the sofa's front legs off the rug; if you want every chair's front legs on it, step up to an 8x10. It also fits under a desk and chair.

Wool, jute or viscose?
Most of our 5x8s are wool, which handles daily foot traffic and hides everyday soil. Jute adds natural texture but is best kept out of damp rooms. Viscose has a silk-like sheen and suits low-traffic spaces such as bedrooms.
